As Jigoku-do is getting popular as a sightseeing place, people tend to forget that Senkoji is a historical and sacred place with a pure, and calm beauty of Mizukake-Fudo san. Whenever I see the statue, I feel as if he purify my soul even though I am not a religious person at all. It was one of my pleasure to visit Senkoji-temple and threw water on Mizukake-Fudo san (the beautiful buddha statue covered by moss) in a beautiful pond with carps. Mizukake-fudou san Lovely carps. Let me talk about that I had so much fun at the ‘Manga-Talk party’! We introduced and had a good discussion about manga at a Manga-bar, Nyi-ma. The theme this time was ‘Good-Bye’. Each of the participants had a brief presentation on how great the manga was and the most impressive points. All of them were very impressive and made me want to read them. I was so moved! Last year, Kazuo Ishiguro won the Nobel Prize for literature!  That is very happy news even for me who read only one book of his.  Because the book I read, Never Let me Go’ moved, depressed, and never let me go from thought…  The feature in the story about Organ Transplantation becoming a common treatment is nothing but hell.  I wonder If the disease that needs Organ Transplantation will become common in our future, or why people do not try to improve their environment or lifestyle? I’ve been going to an orthodontist since June this year.  Every time to get re-stretch wire straight my teeth row, I have to endure so much pain! Why I got orthodontic equipment in spite that I have no cavity?  Because I have to remove all of my teeth had been capped in silver.  They say it is silver-tooth but it is actually an alloy of mercury with another metal (usually silver) used by dentists to fill cavities in teeth. “I can’t wait!!!”,  was the feeling that I had when I heard Twin Peaks 2 had begun shooting.  Yes, I had been looking foward to Twin Peaks 2, a 90’s cultic TV drama which had people glued to their TVs.  But after it started broadcasting in Japan, I have been too busy to watch it. By the way, they said “twin peaks”  is a mountain with two peaks.  Also, it’s said to represent  the breasts of woman.  In the Kansai area, Nijyou-zan is familiar with us as the mountain with two peaks.  Those memories vaguely came back to me. Hina dolls for girls day

Hina-Dolls for celebrating the girl’s day. This is my Hina-dolls that my parents bought for me when I was born. They pray their daughters’ future happy wedding and married lives. Standing gentlemen are my father’s hina dolls, Tenjin-sama, deifying Sugawara Michizane. I heard boys in the Chugoku District used to be given Tenjin-sama dolls by their relatives in the hope that they would live in learning and virtue like Michizane did.

I’ve just had an offer from my agent to work at the National Museum of Ethnology as an administration staff member, but it has not been decided yet, which reminded me of the last year’s fun memory of the exhibition mentioned below. I went to the exhibition about the history of Japanese show tents at the National Museum of Ethnology in October last year.
