Hina-Dolls for celebrating the girl’s day.
This is my Hina-dolls that my parents bought for me when I was born.
They pray their daughters’ future happy wedding and married lives.

Standing gentlemen are my father’s hina dolls, Tenjin-sama, deifying Sugawara Michizane.

Tenjinsama dolls for boys used to display usually only at Samurais’ houses for their sons. Michizane’s life was sad and his great will was in vain though…
I heard boys in the Chugoku District used to be given Tenjin-sama dolls by their relatives in the hope that they would live in learning and virtue like Michizane did.
